Iridescent Dimensions explores the shifting nature of perception through paintings alive with luminous, rainbow-like color. The title comes from the word iridescent, derived from the Latin iris (rainbow), describing colors that change with light and perspective. As viewers move through the gallery, the paintings continuously transform, revealing new layers of color, depth, and emotion.
Inspired by Iris, the Greek goddess of the rainbow, communication, and new beginnings, this body of work continues my exploration of the relationship between the visible and the invisible. In Greek mythology, Iris serves as a bridge between heaven and earth, carrying messages between different realms. In these paintings, color and light become a language that invites viewers to pause, look more deeply, and discover new ways of seeing.
These paintings grow from my relationship with Nature, yet they move beyond representation to explore its hidden vitality: the subtle movements of light, energy, and transformation that exist beneath the surface of ordinary perception. As light shifts and viewers change their position, the paintings continue to unfold, offering ever-changing relationships, unexpected discoveries, and iridescent dimensions of experience.
Iridescent Dimensions is an invitation to slow down and enter a quiet dialogue with the unseen aspects of life. Like the colors of a rainbow, perception is never fixed. It is alive, constantly changing, and filled with possibilities waiting to be discovered.
